‘Let the kids win!’ – Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela forced to tell PSG star to take it easy during sweet family kickabout

LIONEL MESSI’S competitive streak doesn’t end when he takes off his Paris Saint-Germain shirt.

His stunning wife Antonela Roccuzzo was forced to tell the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner to take it easy on his own kids during a garden kickabout.

In a video shared to her Instagram story, Messi is seen enjoying a casual game of football with his sons Thiago, 9, Mateo, 6, and Ciro, 4.

Or at least that’s what Roccuzzo thought it was going to be.

But Messi, 34, seemed to be playing like it was the Champions League final.

And after PSG were knocked out of the competition by Real Madrid last month, a mock final is as close as he’s going to get this season.

Messi’s wife Antonela looks close to tears as PSG fans BOO her husband

The former Barcelona star showed no mercy on his children at all, controlling the ball on a string and not letting his kids tackle him.

He then nonchalantly knocked the ball into the mini goal in the family garden, giving poor Thiago in goal no chance.

And after that Messi quickly ran back to his own goal and stopped the ball from going in, clearly taking the game as seriously as an actual match.

Roccuzzo too thought husband Messi was being too hard on the children, as she hilariously captioned the post: “Let the kids win.”

Clearly Messi’s mind was still in match mode, after he scored just his eighth PSG goal of the season in Sunday’s 5-1 demolition of Lorient.

It was the first time ever the superstar trio of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe had all scored in the same game, and sent Les Parisiens 12 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
