Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd to replace Kanye West at Coachella as full line-up revealed

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd will replace Kanye West in the headlining spot at Coachella 2022, with the full line-up finally being revealed.

They’ll perform in the Sunday night slot, joining Harry Styles on Friday and Billie Eilish on Saturday as this year’s headliners.

Kanye, 44, was scheduled to headline the music and arts festival in California on April 17 and April 24.

However, the rapper pulled out due to unknown reasons on Monday.

Paul Tollett, CEO of Coachella promoter Goldenvoice, said: ‘I’m so looking forward to this moment with Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd finishing out the Sunday night slot this year.

‘Coachella has a special relationship with Abel and I’m so thankful to have this upcoming performance with these iconic artists all on the same stage.’

The Weeknd last headlined the festival in 2018 and first performed there in 2018.

Since, he’s impressed with plenty of high-profile performances, including the Super Bowl half-time show in 2021.

He previously collaborated with Swedish House Mafia on their song Moth To A Flame.
