Secret behind ‘perfect alignment’ of pyramids NOT aliens as mystery finally solved

THE LONGSTANDING conspiracy that aliens built the Giza pyramid complex is coming undone.

A clever archeologist found that a sunny day might have been all the Egyptians needed to precisely center the pyramids.

The Pyramids of Giza are complex structures loaded with tunnels and tombs

Construction on the Pyramids of Giza began in circa 2550 BC – long before modern mapping techniques or even the compass were invented.

Despite the ancientness of the structures, each of the three main pyramids in Giza are aligned so that the corners are pointed in each cardinal direction – north, east, south and west.

The corners are just a bit off kilter – ScienceAlert quoted archeologist Glen Dash saying the pyramids are “rotated slightly counterclockwise from the cardinal points.”

But it’s not that the aliens were imitating human error – the method that the Egyptians applied was brilliant but imperfect.

ALIEN IDEA

The Indian circle method is a simple trick for determining direction – and its what Dash theorizes the Egyptians used to place the pyramids.

The method comes in three parts: first, place a stick into vertically into the dirt and trace the high point of its shadow every half hour over the course of a day.

Next take a tight piece of string and walk it across the mapped high points – the string should cross with two points.

Draw a line between the two points – this line runs perfectly east to west.

The architects of the pyramids also factored in Earth’s relationship to the Sun to make their estimates even more accurate.

During the autumnal and vernal equinoxes, the length of day and night are both about 12 hours.

As a result, the first line created by the shadow already runs perfect east to west, eliminating the need for string and additional mapping.

Dash, who tested the theory on the day of the equinox, found that the Indian circle method lends to a slight tip counterclockwise – just as the Pyramids of Giza are.

The Pyramids of Giza are subjected all sorts of other worldly conjecture – its hard to fathom ancient civilization could construct a structure so advanced and situated squarely on the cardinal points.

The Indian circle method offers an explanation using only the tools that were available at the time.
