Car RAMS into food truck ‘leaving at least 11 hurt’ in Austin as fire crews rush to scene
MULTIPLE vehicles and pedestrians were involved in a ‘major collision’ on Friday night, police say.
At least 11 people have been injured in the crash involving one food truck and two other vehicles on a road in downtown Austin, Texas.

Austin-Travis County EMS crews are on the scene, where officials reported that one vehicle collided with the food truck and multiple pedestrians.
Officials reported that of the 11 people injured, nine were transported to the hospital.
Of the nine transported to the hospital, two of the patients have potentially life-threatening issues.
ATCEMS tweeted that the incident happened around 8.18pm.
A witness told KVUE that he saw a white pick-up truck speeding Westbound and estimated he was going about 85 miles per hour, which is well above the speed limit.
He said it sounded “like an explosion, like a bomb.”
The collision occurred at 1800 Barton Springs Rd, authorities say.
Reports from local media outlets say that the area is considered a “food truck park.”
No fatalities have been reported yet.
The investigation is still ongoing.
