Pat McAfee Reveals How Tom Brady Almost Owned Miami Dolphins While Being Their QB

The return narrative of Tom Brady to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has the fans looming over. With his return, there’s a fact that more speculations will pour in. However, nobody saw the rumors of the QB being the part-owner of the Miami Dolphins and being a part of the roster. Pat McAfee spills the kernels on his program over the blazing story. With these findings, the major stories from the 2022 NFL offseason have collided into one gigantic, motion picture-caliber drama.

NFL’s greatest quarterback of all time, who hangs up his cleats in February; took little to no time to make his intentions very clear after sharing a brief statement on Twitter. Brady was ready to deal with some unfinished business. Ultimately, Tom is now back in the Bay, where he won his 7th Super Bowl ring in his introductory season with the franchise.

Tom Brady as a team boss in the league?

Pat McAfee recently sheds the light on the Brady-Manning and Dolphins situation at the Patt McAfee Show. He calls the reports by Ben Volin. When Tom Brady announces his retirement in February, his subsequent maneuver had been in the works.

The Miami Dolphins might well have ultimately unveiled Tom Brady as a minority owner, according to various sources. The revelation might have come as early as the week before the Super Bowl. This would have been the week before the play. However, with a landmark lawsuit, Brian Flores, the ousted Dolphins head coach, smashed this scheme to bits. On the same day that the quarterback announces his farewell, he submits the petition.

According to NBC Sports’ Mike Florio, the Dolphins planned to pursue a Sean Payton/Tom Brady package deal in February. The franchise approached the Saints regarding the prospect of employing Payton, according to a source close to the team. With Brady, the Dolphins unofficially concede that they took up the possibility of him being a minority owner of the organization.

Can things transpire again?

The retirement appears to be a complicated attempt to persuade the Buccaneers into waiving him all without officially demanding a transfer or provoking a squabble. However, Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel dubs that Tua Tagovailoa will be Miami’s starting quarterback in the upcoming season.

After the Miami deal fell through and hardly anything transpired in San Francisco, Tom Brady’s remaining opportunity in 2022 was to compete again for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady will be eligible for free agency in 2023. Even though he is nearing 50 years old, he could eventually wind up in the Dolphins, or choose to finally stay out of the NFL.
