Tough road for Djokovic and Alcaraz en route their dream quarter-final match-up

While the match hasn’t yet taken place, fans are getting hyped up already. Both Alcaraz and Djokovic will have their individual challenges to face in Monte Carlo. Currently, Djokovic’s form will be a big concern for him as he hasn’t played since the Dubai Open. Also, this will only be his second tournament in 2022. Incidentally, both of them got a bye in the first round.

Coming to Alcaraz, he could face the talented American Sebastian Korda in the second round, which will be a fun encounter to watch. If the Spaniard wins that match, he could face Indian Wells champion Taylor Fritz in the round of 16. Meanwhile, Djokovic might face Roberto Bautista Agut in the round of 16. Incidentally, the Spanish player had success on previous occasions against the Serbian.
