Paul has nailed his colours to the mast

But he hilariously copied in the wrong Mo Salah.

The original tweet read “Man City vs Liverpool is a toss up. City has their amazing fans…but Liverpool on fire at the moment. I’m putting my money on the reds and @22mosalah”

He then removed the post before uploading another one, with the correct Mo Salah tagged.

Football fans the world over reacted to the post, some slamming the YouTube sensation for not knowing his stuff when it comes to English football.

One fan reacted with “Why you tryna act like you know football?”, with many others tweeting similar responses.

Paul’s updated tweet read: “Man City Vs Liverpool is a toss up. City has home field…but Liverpool on fire at the moment.

“I’m putting my bet on The Reds and @mosalah.”

At least he copied in the right Mo Salah in his corrected version.

But this didn’t stop fans from ripping him apart for using the phrase “home field” which is not common in the English game.

The game is being dubbed ‘The Title Decider’ by fans. With eight games of the season to go, Liverpool sit just one point behind City, who, with a win today, will go four points clear at the top of the league.

Man City have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games against the reds and it is the 50th Premier League game between the two sides in history.

Jake Paul and his brother Logan have been in the headlines recently in the boxing world, as Tyson Fury claimed he’d ‘beat their a****’ if they ever shared the ring with him.

Jake also opened the door to fighting Floyd Mayweather – and took a chance to mock the boxing legend at the same time, teasing him about stealing his hat back in May.
