Joe Rogan Gives Final Verdict on Will Smith’s ‘$30 Million’ Boxing Match With Chris Rock

Will Smith has publicly apologized to Chris Rock following the shocking aftermath of Rock’s altercation with Smith. Irrespective of whatever means the Academy and the actors have tried out to put water under the bridge, Smith slapping Rock at the Oscars is still a hot content.

Almost everyone has opined something on the topic. Why shall ‘the Problem Child’ then be an exception? Unsurprisingly, following the trend, now Jake Paul has also taken his shot at pinching salts on a fresh wound.

When the discussion came up, here’s what Joe Rogan said in one of his recent podcasts: “He (Jake Paul) offered Chris Rock and Will Smith $40 million.”

Joe Rogan and his analysis of Will Smith fighting Chris Rock

Joe Rogan was slightly inaccurate in respect to the figure Jake Paul offered for the Will Smith and Chris Rock showdown. The actual offer that Paul had made was that of $30 million, $15 million to Smith, and $15 million to Rock.

For a significant number of individuals, Chris Rock fighting Will Smith, and that too under Paul‘s undercard, is a phenomenon only possible when pigs will fly.

But, in a world of accidents, if they did, here’s how Rogan would feel about the match. “Well, even if he did, Chris Rock is very small. It’s not fair. The difference is like 60 lbs.”

In Rogan’s opinion, Smith, who played the role of Muhammad Ali, in his documentary film titled ‘Ali’, is an athlete of one of a kind. “Put up Will Smith as Muhammad Ali. Dude, Will Smith is a f**king athlete,” added Rogan.

Jake Paul the buzz kid

Say what you want to say. But for Jake Paul, Smith fighting Rock for $30 million is an offer the actors should not refuse. He already seems to even have a date in mind for the fight. “Let’s do it in August on my undercard,” writes Paul as he tweets.

Well, Paul has high hopes and he just can’t help it. After Askren and Woodley, he now wishes to touch gloves with the one and only, Mike Tyson.

Irrespective of what Paul says or does, in recent times, he, along with his brother Logan Paul, has made quite a fortune for themselves. What is the next big thing for the Paul brothers seems beyond anyone’s guess.
