Volkanovski batters Korean Zombie in brutal UFC 273 victory, leaving loser bloodied and struggling to breathe
ALEXANDER VOLKANOVSKI mauled Chan Sung Jung to win via technical knockout seconds into the fourth round to retain his featherweight belt at UFC 273.
The 33-year-old Volkanovski extended his professional winning streak to 21 with the win over Jung, better known as the Korean Zombie.

Jung was left battered, bloodied and struggling to breathe after the first three rounds.
He was not even able to sit on his stool between rounds, slumping with his back against the octagon.
The cageside doctor examined him before the start of the fourth round, and Jung insisted he wanted to keep going.
But referee Herb Dean stopped the bout 45 seconds into the fourth of five championship rounds.

Dean was later praised for stepping in and preventing any further damage for Jung.
At the end of the fight, champion and challenger shared a long hug inside the octagon and the Korean Zombie appeared to shed tears as he knelt on the mat.
Volkanovski, who has won his last 11 fights, said: “I told you before this fight, all week, I said I’m on another level right now.
“I can’t be stopped, and I just showed you. He actually took a lot more than I wanted him to.

“I thought they could have stopped it a bit earlier and I started feeling bad in there, but that’s the sport we’re in.”
After the fight Jung, 35, said he was now considering retiring.
Jung said: “I was most confident out of my entire career.
“I wasn’t tired and I was ready to go but it felt like I hit a wall that I could not go over.
“After every loss, I always think about leaving the Octagon and this MMA game but I will need more time to think on it and see if I will continue fighting. I will have to think on that.”
