Brock Lesnar and His Iconic Rival Leave Behind WWE GOATs The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and John Cena

Anything that concerns with ‘The Beast Incarnate’ is a feast for the world of WWE. Over his first and current tenures, Brock Lesnar has delivered spectacular entertainment with each of his iconic feuds. And in every one of them, he had a unique and intimidating element of dominance. Moreover, his legacy spreads all around NCAA, UFC and WWE, as he has many accolades in all of them.

Interestingly, Lesnar’s rivalry with a certain WWE Superstar surpassed a few notable rivalries which involved GOATs such as The Rock, John Cena, and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. As many would guess, it’s the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. The Beast has faced The Golden Boy of WWE in three WrestleMania main events, including the latest WrestleMania 38, surpassing The Rock, Stone Cold and the Prototype’s records.

WWE legends who headlined multiple WrestleManias

‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Rock have faced each other in two WrestleMania Main Events, at XV and XVII. Additionally, The Texas Rattlesnake had lost to Dwayne Johnson at WrestleMania 19, after which he retired. But, the main event of WM 19 was Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle. Recently, ‘Stone Cold‘ returned in the latest Mania to thrash Kevin Owens with raining Stunners and beer.

Coming to The Rock, he has two sets of main events in WrestleMania with two different legends. ‘The Great One’ fell short to Steve Austin in both WrestleMania 15 and 17, but he tasted victories in both WM 28 and 29 against ‘The Prototype’ John Cena.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns surpassed the GOATs in terms of main events

Now, according to WrestleMania stats, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns has been the extravaganza in three WrestleMania main events. In WM 31, they had their first encounter, which was compelling in the beginning and turned out to be a Triple Threat match when Seth Rollins entered and Rollins emerged victorious.

Then at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, they shared the ring, but the match felt like a shoot as Reigns did not even attempt a redemption after Lesnar beat him badly. Also, after the match, Brock Lesnar threw the championship belt at Mr. McMahon, seemingly upset over how they planned the match.

Further, The Head of The Table and The Conqueror met once again to settle their scores, at WrestleMania 38. The build-up of the match was incredible as WWE announced it as ‘The Biggest WrestleMania Match’ in WWE History. In the mammoth Title Unification face-off, The Tribal Chief pinned down The Beast. However, it did not satisfy the WWE fandom, as it did not measure up to what was expected.

As Reigns vs Lesnar rivalry is still going on, grander plans for the two are certainly coming up. Further, the other three icons could still make a massive return and change the course of expectations. No matter what turns out, all of these legends have their distinctive places in WWE history.
