Ferrari Boss Fires Fierce Warning to F1 Grid – “This Is the Best Charles Leclerc I’ve Ever Seen…”

The start of the 2022 season for Charles Leclerc has been phenomenal. The Monegasque driver is probably living the best time of his F1 career so far. With two wins in just 3 races, this has been a dream start for the Ferrari driver.

The 24-year-old has been on the receiving end of huge appraisals for the last few weeks. With two wins and a P2 in three races, Charles couldn’t have asked for more coming to the new season. Since Charles has grown up at Maranello Academy, his team boss Mattia Binotto, expressed that this is the best version of the driver.

Talking about Leclerc, Binotto conveyed, “Yes, this is the best Charles Leclerc I’ve ever seen. He already had a lot of talent and is continuing to grow. For the ability to concentrate on race weekends, for maturity, for the ability to fine-tune the car, for working with engineers, for maturity and tire management. The challenge will be to stay at these levels for the remaining twenty races, but I know he will give it all.”

Charles has already picked up more points than he did in the entire season in 2018. Moreover, with just three races down, the Monegasque has fetched almost half the points he picked up the entire 2021 season. Talking about the podium, Leclerc leveled the number of podiums in 2022 with the total number of podiums he claimed in the last two years.

Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari expects Red Bull to fight back

If there’s one driver who managed to give Charles a run for his money, that’s Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver had the nightmare of a start to 2022. With the aim of defending his F1 title, Max has had two DNFs already in just three outings. And in the other one, he overpowered Leclerc to win in Jeddah. All in all, the reliability issue with Red Bull put Verstappen on the back foot as looks to retain his F1 crown.

It’s a win
Soooo happy! Perfect weekend.

Talking about this, Ferrari boss Binotto asserted, “We came out well from Australia, it was a clear win, but that doesn’t mean this is our value. We managed, in difficult track conditions, to arrange the car better than the others. However, I expect a strong Red Bull from the next races. They are pushing and developing, it will be a tight fight”

The Charles Leclerc-Max Verstappen duel has been the talk of the town this season. With Lewis Hamilton barely managing to push through the mid-field, the Ferrari driver replaced him to be in contention for the F1 Championship. As F1 goes to Italy, the home of the most successful F1 team, it’ll be interesting to see if they can pull off another stunner at Imola.
