The 25-year-old professional won his first-ever major championship event and is also the current World Number One in the Official World Golf Rankings. Moreover, after winning his fourth event of the 2022 season, Scottie has surpassed a legend on the PGA Tour career money list.

The 25-year-old professional has won four events in his last six starts in the 2022 season. Not to forget that the 2022 season is the season in which Scottie got his breakthrough win on the PGA Tour. He won the Waste Management Phoenix Open to claim his first Tour title. Since then, he has not looked back. Moreover, World Number One has accumulated significant earnings with these enormous wins. Scheffler won $1.5 million with his first win. Then he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in a stellar final round. As a result, he collected prize money worth $2.2miilion.

On top of that, his win at the World Golf Championship Dell Match Play helped him add $2.2 million to his earnings. Moreover, with his emphatic win at Augusta National, he added a whopping $2.7 million to his earnings. As a result, his earnings for the current season added up to an incredible $10,098,014 in just 13 events.

Moreover, Scheffler is now the leader of the PGA Tour Money Leader’s list for 2022. He has also joined the likes of Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth on the list of the highest earnings in a single season. Scottie is placed in the sixth position with his earnings in the 2022 season.
The icing on the cake is what he accumulated in earnings over two incredibly impressive months. He has surpassed John Daly on the PGA Tour Career Money Leaders List. John Daly sits in 209th position on the list with earnings of $10,270,681. Whereas, Scottie sits in the 141st position with overall earnings of $$14,967,146. Not to forget, the list is only up until the 2022 Valero Texas Open and does not include Scheffler’s earnings from the Masters. Moreover, with the rest of the season yet to come, we can expect the World Number One to win more and make a significant leap on the list.

Scottie’s last round summary at the 2022 Masters
Scheffler won the 2022 Masters to register his first major championship win. Moreover, he won the event with an overall score of 10-under-par. As a result, Scottie won with a comfortable three-shot cushion on Sunday. He carded a final round of one-under-par, 71 at Augusta to claim the title. His final round included two birdies and all pars on the front nine. As a result, he moved out in two-under-par, 34. He made two birdies, one bogey, and a double bogey on the back nine to win his first green jacket.
