Twitter Breaks Down as Charles Leclerc Is Left Unappreciated After Glorious Australian GP Run
Charles Leclerc probably drove the best race of his career yet at the Australian Grand Prix. Staring on pole, finishing first and recording the fastest lap of the race, that’s a grand slam! Nobody can deny the fact that Charles finished the race with perfection. But there are people who think there was something lacking.
Edd Straw of The Race assessed the Australian Grand Prix and gave out ratings to drivers based on their performances. Him giving Charles a 9/10 was surely a mistake. And fans did not take this well.
Twitter reacts to Edd Straw’s 9/10 rating for Charles Leclerc
Let’s just say Leclerc rated 9/10 for the Australian Grand Prix was not fair. Twitter was not happy and the users let their feelings known. A user was in disbelief, as they did not give Charles a 10/10 and we agree. Well, she is one of many!
9??? 9???? Mans got a Grand Slam and that’s still not enough to get a 10??? pic.twitter.com/5O3ANb4jtv

Other users pointed out the flaws in other driver ratings.
Checo got a 7 for actually finishing 2nd. Russell also got a 7 for 3rd but Max and Nando got 8s for not finishing and finishing 17th

The assessment incorrectly stated Max Verstappen as finished 2nd wherein Max did not finish the race and still ended up with 8 out of 10. Compare that to his teammate Sergio Perez who actually finished 2nd and got 7/10.
HOW THE FUCK IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE???? What the heck should he do to get 10/10? Lap everyone and drink a coffee during the pit stop?

I bet if he drove with one hand that would still not be enough

Let’s just say the Ferrari faithful were in a frenzy on Twitter after reading Charles’ rating. However, there were a few interesting tweets that all Ferrari fans would love to see.

Not a rule and nothing to get excited about, it’s just an interesting fact presented by ESPN F1.

Ferrari and Leclerc are the favorites for the title?
So far this season Ferrari has performed exceptionally. And that goes for both their drivers with the Australian Grand Prix as an exception. After a poor qualifying, Carlos Sainz’s race went from bad to worse.

After a slip at turn 9, and hitting the gravel at turn 10, Sainz retired the car. During his post-race interview, Carlos told fans how his steering wheel issue led to his Melbourne adversity. On the same day, Charles Leclerc completed and won a perfect race. However, Ferrari would’ve wanted to see both the cars over the finish line, ideally ending up on the podium.
In the end, it was a bittersweet result for the team. But Ferrari are still ahead in the constructors’ championship. And no other team looks like putting up a proper fight to Scuderia. Ferrari and Charles might just end the drought and put an end to the dominance of Red Bull and Mercedes.
