Stone Cold Steve Austin Takes Social Media By Storm for All the Hilarious Reasons

We have seen WWE changing and shortening the names of their superstars lately. They have done this many times in the company’s history. For example, they changed The Rattlesnake’s name from The Ringmaster to Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the 90s. 

In recent years, superstars like Matt Riddle became Riddle, Antonio Cesaro became Cesaro, Big E Langston became Big E, and last week Raquel Gonzalez’s name was changed to Raquel Rodriguez.

The RAW episode saw one more shortening of the name for a WWE superstar. Austin Theory’s name was changed to just Theory. This created a buzz around the WWE universe. WWE posted it on their official Twitter account saying, “Actually … you can just call me THEORY. @austintheory1 sets the record straight on #WWERaw.”

Austin Theory had come to WWE Official Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to ask for his match against Finn Balor for the US Championship. There he told them to call him only Theory from now on, as it was his name.

Austin Theory will have a match for the US Championship

Austin Theory on the latest RAW episode asked for a match for the US Championship against Finn Balor. Adam Pearce gave his approval for the match for the title next week.

Theory pinned Finn Balor last week on RAW in a 6-man tag team match that included RK-Bro and The Usos.
