Tiger Woods Makes a Massive Jump in World Golf Rankings Following Sensational Comeback
The 2022 Masters Tournament witnessed Tiger Woods making a comeback after more than a year. Although he couldn’t win the tournament, he did finish all four rounds, which made his OWGR and FedEx rankings shoot up.
Woods currently ranks at 745th position on the Official World Golf Rankings. Although it might seem very low, it is way better than his rank before the Augusta National event. He was ranked at 944 then.
The 15-time major winner climbed 199 spots higher than what he ranked on the 27th of March. Moreover, the odds were that if he had won the 2022 Masters Tournament, he would have ranked 40 on the OWGR standings.
However, since Woods only could secure the 47th position after the final round on Sunday, he could only move 199 spots up. Tiger has scored an overall 13-over par to rank 47 on the Masters’ leaderboard.
