Belinda Bencic Shares Bloody Images of Socks After Title Victory at Charleston

Being in a roaring form, Belinda Bencic cruised her way to victory at the WTA 500 Charleston Open. Entering the tournament as the 10th seed, Bencic showed a decent performance on her road to the finals. In the finals, she beat the 4th seeded Ons Jabeur. Playing the finals, Belinda showed some great on-court skills, going neck to neck with the Tunisian opponent.

Seeing Belinda, it was largely believed that it was her control over her mental and physical ability that directed the Swiss player towards victory. Even though the statement was truthful, the win came at a larger cost. Today, 3 days after the finals, Belinda took to her Instagram, giving a glimpse of the cost at which she won the Charleston Open.

The bleeding foot of Belinda Bencic

Today, the 13th of April, Belinda took to her Instagram account, uploading a series of stories. The series was primarily titled ‘Title for some Expectation vs Reality Charleston Photo Dump’.

The line of stories had a number of ‘expectations vs. reality’ comparisons. However, what caught the most attention was the ‘expectations vs reality’ comparison of the situation during the match. The ‘expectation’ story had photos of Belinda in gracious positions during a point. However, the ‘reality’ story had a photo of a bleeding foot of Belinda.

In the story, the 2022 Charleston champion posted a photo of herself wearing socks with bloodstains all over. Seeing the condition of the foot, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the 25-year-old played almost the whole final with blisters on her foot.
