Microsoft issues urgent warning for MILLIONS of users over 100 security flaws – change your PC settings now

MICROSOFT has just released fixes for more than 100 security issues and users should update now.

The problems include bugs, information leaks and spoofing, and hackers could have exploited a couple of them already.

The update tackles two ‘zero-day’ vulnerabilities.

This is a term used to describe a security issue that may have been actively exploited by cybercriminals.

Microsoft labeled 10 of the issues as critical.

One of the zero-day vulnerabilities affects the Windows User Profile Service.

The other is a bug found in the Windows Common Log File System Driver.

Microsoft has revealed little information about the flaws so they can’t be exploited further.

Popular applications like the Windows OS, Microsoft Office and Skype for Business are said to be affected.

If you’re a Windows 10 user most updates should download automatically.

How to update Microsoft Windows

To make sure your Windows is updated you first need to click on the Start button.

Then click on Settings and then the Updates and Security icon.

You’ll then be given the option to check for updates and if there is one available it should download automatically.
