Elon Musk’s Ambition to Buy Twitter for $41 Billion Given Harsh Reality Check by Mavs Owner Mark Cuban

Quite recently, billionaire, Elon Musk revealed his decision to buy one of the largest social media platforms, Twitter. This news had the internet in shock. His offer went viral and people started pouring in their own thoughts. Not only the fans, but even big-time businessmen also took on to the situation and shared their perspectives.

The deal is not finalized yet, though a billionaire believes that Musk’s move is not as relevant as it seems. He believes that this huge takeover by Elon Musk is not possible. Mark Cuban definitely went in on Musk’s offer.

Elon’s latest move does not impress Mark Cuban

Elon Musk’s offer was to buy Twitter for $41 billion. This included $54.20 per share of Twitter’s stock. Musk believes that the platform needs to be transformed into a private company. Though Mark Cuban explained what he thinks is wrong with the deal in his recent tweet.

My conclusion, @elonmusk is fucking with the SEC. His filing w/the SEC allows him to say he wants to take a company private for $54.20
Vs his “Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured” Price go up. His shares get sold. Profit SEC like WTF just happened.

Well, Musk might want to expand Tesla, for which he might have made the decision. He also says that the platform cannot thrive in its current state. One thing that did grab attention was Musk’s quotes from the filing. “I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” via AP News.

Being a business tycoon and profound billionaire, Cuban can bring up a number of pros and cons about Elon’s offer. On the other hand, what is up with Mark Cuban’s Mavs?

Mark Cuban’s Mavericks will be without Luka Doncic for a bit

With Luka Doncic‘s injury update out, he will miss game 1 of the first round. The Mavericks will take on the Utah Jazz on Saturday. With Doncic out, role-players like Dwight Powell and others will have to step up. Spencer Dinwiddie and Finney Smith will be the primary scorers on the team.

This will be crucial for the Mavs, as their primary scorer will not be playing. Luka is a threat for teams out in the West. With him being out for the first game, Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz might take the advantage. It’s not confirmed whether he will play in game 2. Though if he doesn’t and the Mavs go down 0-2, it will be a tough job coming back into the series.
