On April 16th, Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas will go against Errol Spence Jr. in a welterweight unification bout. Ahead of his match, ESNEWS interviewed Dayanara Leon, the girlfriend of the WBA welterweight titleholder, Yordenis ’54 Milagros’ Ugas.
Following queries regarding how she felt about her boyfriend’s match, the interviewer brought up Will Smith’s squabble with Chris Rock at the Oscars. On being asked how Leon felt about Will Smith’s behavior at the Oscars, this is what she said:
“I don’t know. I think that violence is not good, you know, for a TV. Too many kids watch TV. So, that’s not good.” “You know Ugas has Alopecia, and you have to accept a lot of comments – stupid comments,” Leon added.
