Andy Ruiz Jr. Draws ‘Chaotic’ Reactions as Fight with Luis Ortiz Gets Announced

It is unwise to write in an opponent for Andy Ruiz Jr. until the moment he steps inside the cage with said foe. Chiefly, this is because he almost always finds himself with a new marquee opponent just days or weeks after the original opponent was announced.

The maiden heavyweight champion from Mexico was all set to land the unexpected clash with Tyrone Spong on July 16 in Mexico. However, it barely took a week, and another opponent has entered into the mix.

According to Mike Coppinger of ESPN, the boxing sensation that pulled the biggest upset by thrashing British star Anthony Joshua is now going to face Luis Ortiz.

Coppinger wrote, “Andy Ruiz Jr. will fight Luis Ortiz next in a PBC heavyweight bout rather than Tyrone Spong despite a Triller announcement Wednesday of a July 16 bout in Mexico City. The ex-heavyweight champ signed to fight Ortiz before he signed to fight Spong.”

According to IntuBoxing, the former WBA interim heavyweight titleholder, Luis Ortiz has labeled ‘The Destroyer’ as a coward for turning his back on him and taking a shot against Tyrone Spong.

However, Ruiz Jr is again going back to Ortiz after making headlines about facing Spong this summer.

As soon as this news broke out on the internet, it caught the attention of boxing fans. They barely missed a chance of making bold reactions to it.

A fan wrote, “Andy Ruiz seems to be quite a chaotic brother.”

Few more fans added their remark to it

Another fan recalled the biggest shot of ‘The Destroyer’ that made him star, his seventh-round knockout victory against Anthony Joshua. This fan labeled Ruiz Jr as a ‘one-hit wonder’ because, since then, the latter has not taken to any title fight and remained inactive most of the time.

Andy Ruiz is a one hit wonder …

Lmao Andy Ruiz saw Luis Ortiz talk shit and he was like nah https://t.co/CuhUySkmJB

Another Twitter user is of the opinion that Ruiz has no interest in his boxing career. Undoubtedly, if the career of Ruiz will go like this, he will have to get ready for such brutal remarks.

Andy Ruiz has zero interest in his own career, change my mind.

Andy Ruiz Vs Luis Ortiz is decent, it’s better then Ruiz for Spong but I lost interest in that fight after Ortiz vs Martin tbh
