I asked for tattoo with lyrics from my favourite song – then I realised I got the words wrong
A WOMAN has been left mortified after getting the words of her favourite song tattooed on her – before realising they were wrong.
The TikToker, who posts under the username Sophie Croft had decided to get lyrics from the Abba hit “Slipping Through My Fingers” inked on.

The video was captioned “got the wrong word tatted on me. never getting another tattoo in my life”.
It starts off with Sophie covering her mouth looking shocked accompanied by the words “not me realising I got the wrong lyrics tattooed”.
The TikTok then focuses on her tattoo on her ribs which looks absolutely fine at first glance.
It reads “I let precious time slip by” in reference to the famous Abba song.

However, Sophie then reveals that the lyrics in her body art are actually wrong and it should read “I let precious time go by”.
The TikTok has racked up over 570,000 views and users were quick to share their opinions on the tattoo mishap.
One user simply commented: “Crying for you.”
“The lyrics slipped through your fingers,” another quipped.

Other TikTokers took the time to view the situation in a positive light and offer words of encouragement after the inking mistake.
A viewer said: “You know what it’s now unique and inspired by the song.”
“Someone tweet abba and get them to change the lyrics,” joked a second.
“Its a mix of two songs though so it’s actually pretty cool,” said a third.

Meanwhile, a woman was shocked after having to pay hundreds to remove a £10 tribute inking that didn’t go to plan.
