“I Used To Be A Cold-blooded Vegan”: Mike Tyson And Podcaster Joe Rogan Discuss The Benefits Of Eating Meat
Many celebrities have spoken about the vegan diet. Famous UFC star Nate Diaz is also known to occasionally follow veganism. However, it might be a surprise to know that boxing legend Mike Tyson used to follow a vegan diet. In a recent episode on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Tyson spoke about the diet and how he stopped following it.
He also thanked Rogan for enlightening him about the essential dense nutrients meat gives. Tyson said, “I used to be a cold-blooded vegan until I met you. Venison and the bison and all stuff. And then I realize that your body needs that. … That’s what I have been eating lately.
“I never knew about this stuff before I met you. … I always have enough frozen in the freezer. I have a whole freezer of this bison, Venison. I ordered three-year-old elk.”

As a result, Mike Tyson is no longer a vegan and instead, prefers to eat meat. Fans already know Rogan’s famous ‘carnivore diet‘. The Spotify podcaster has spoken about it and its benefits a few times in the past. As a result, it looks like Rogan really rubbed onto Tyson.
Thus, the boxer also spoke about how the meat diet is affecting him. He said, “I even go to the bathroom better. I’m always strong, no matter what I’m taking, what I’m doing. I’m always strong, no matter if I’m on a diet, I’m not eating anything, but just that.”

Does Joe Rogan still continue his carnivore diet?
An article published by ‘Men’s Health‘ earlier this year informed that Rogan was going to follow the carnivore diet for the month of January. Thus, it seems like he does not follow the diet throughout the year.
