Dana White Making Slow Overtures in Pro Wrestling as AEW Wages War on WWE

Dana White is one of the most popular names in the MMA World. He is currently the president of the UFC. But it looks like the pro wrestling fans can certainly see Dana in a pro wrestling show soon.

Coming to the pro wrestling world, WWE and AEW have been involved in a competition for a long time. Ever since AEW’s formation, Tony Khan has tried his best to attract the audience to AEW programming.

With his various interesting signings, Khan had successfully attracted several individuals to AEW. Interestingly, not only had pro wrestlers appeared in AEW, but some UFC stars have also appeared in All Elite Wrestling.

A few days earlier, Jim Ross and Tony Khan attended UFC 273. Ever since then, there have been a lot of speculations about Ross and Khan’s UFC 273 attendance.

Recently, during an episode of the Grilling JR Podcast, Jim Ross revealed Dana White has himself invited them to attend UFC 273.

Jim Ross also admitted that Dana White will attend an upcoming AEW show in Vegas.

Ross said, “Dana White invited Tony Khan and I to attend. He and Tony are buddies and I’ve known Dana for a long time myself, probably not as well as Tony does.”

“When we’re in Vegas coming up in several weeks, he’s going to come to one of our events. We have a lot in common, we’re trying to sell tickets to a live event and then televise it. There’s a lot of common ground there,” he added. (H/T: WrestlingInc.)

Will Tony Khan’s friendship with Dana White play a big role in AEW’s competition with WWE?

If Dana White appears in AEW in the future, it will certainly make the headlines in the pro wrestling world.

Further, if Tony Khan can successfully make a partnership with the UFC for a talent crossover, it is going to be a massive step forward in the right direction for AEW.

In the past, we have seen some UFC stars like Paige VanZant and Junior Dos Santos appear in AEW. And now, it looks like the UFC president is going to follow them.
