Popular iPhone model tipped to be AXED by Apple ahead of iPhone 14 launch

SOME experts theorize the launch of the iPhone 14 will bring the retirement of the iPhone 11.

The iPhone 11 has sold more than 100million units worldwide – the 5th best sales performance of any iPhone.

The iPhone 11 had one of the most successful runs of any iPhone to date

The iPhone 11 was released in 2019 with an array of stylistic changes.

The device dropped with six flashy color options and a glossy finish.

The aesthetic features were a big draw – but the device also marked the end of headphones and a charging block coming with the purchase of a new iPhone.

Overall, the iPhone 11 is one of the most popular models to date and remains in circulation – for now.

iPhone 14 ‘leak’ claims Apple fans will be paying a lot more for top model

iDropNews first reported that the iPhone 11 would be dropped from the Apple catalogue.

The iPhone SE was meant to be the “affordable” iPhone, starting at $429 – the iPhone 11 hangs around this price, making it a disruptive competitor to the SE.

In the time that they have both been on the market, iPhone 11 sales outpaced the newer iPhone SE.

Three models down the line, it makes logical sense for Apple to cut down the range of devices offered.

Speculation on the iPhone 14 says it may be Apple’s most expensive phone to date – with the iPhone 14 Pro Max potentially ringing up at $1,199.

The iPhone 14 is also rumored to be dropping the notch atop the screen, bringing a full glass display to the iPhone line for the first time.

An expert previously told The Sun that the iPhone 14 would bring a shift from an aluminum and stainless steel casing to a titanium body – it’s a lighter and tougher material that should render your iPhone nearly indestructible.

Improvements to the LiDAR scanner, camera quality and screen resolution are also thought to be on the way.
