Tifosi Gear Up to Gloriously Welcome F1 Championship Leader Charles Leclerc to Ferrari Home Race at Imola GP

The start of the 2022 season has been phenomenal for Ferrari and Charles Leclerc. The Italian team not only dominates the championship table but also got both their drivers in the top 3 in driver’s standings. As F1 moves to Italy this week, Tifosi is getting all geared up to receive them at the home Grand Prix.

With two wins in three races so far, the start of the season couldn’t be better for Charles. The man currently leads the driver’s championship and that too by a great margin. With every coming race, the Monegasque seems unstoppable. How about he gets to race in front of Ferrari fans in this form? Well, fans are indeed waiting.

Ferrari has been absolutely dominant when it came to pace this year. They’ve not only picked up five podiums out of six possible chances but also picked up two poles out of three races. While Leclerc looks an absolute beast with his F1-75, teammate Carlos Sainz is not far behind.

Charles leads the championship with 71 points while Carlos sits at P3 with 33 points. Unfortunately, the Spaniard had a DNF in the last race in Australia, otherwise, he’d have fetched more points. On the other hand, Ferrari is ahead of P2 Mercedes by 39 points as they are currently at 104 points.

Ferrari fans are absolutely excited

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is Ferrari’s home race. The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari is all set to host the first Sprint race of the season. This Italian venue is one of the most talked-about circuits in F1 and it has got its legends.

Talking about Tifosi, they’re the Ferrari loyalists. It is believed that the Imola circuit often becomes hostile for rival teams to race on as it is flocked by the Tifosi.
