GARY NEVILLE branded Manchester United as a ‘waste of space’ and the club’s worst team in his 42 years watching after Liverpool took them apart.

Old Trafford legend Nev couldn’t believe how severely the Red Devils were outplayed early on in Tuesday’s clash as Luis Diaz and Mo Salah put the home side 2-0 up.

The former England defender said: “These are the easiest fixtures in the league at this moment in time.

“‘I’ve been watching Manchester United for 42 years, this is as bad as it gets in my time watching the club.
