Freeze The Fear viewers all have the same complaint about shower scenes in Holly Willoughby’s new show

Wim Hof, the famous Iceman known for his ability to withstand freezing temperatures, set the celebrities the task, while hosts Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack looked on.
First up to brave an icy shower was tenor Alfie Boe and sports presenter Gabby Logan.
Alfie went shirtless in swimwear, while Gabby wore a swimming costume for the chilly feat.
Holly and Lee, who were all wrapped up warm in their alpine gear, grimaced as they watched Alfie and Gabby scream as the freezing cold water hit their bodies.

But while the show showed their reactions in slow motion to amp up the drama, many viewers aren’t home were far from impressed.
“A cold shower. Really. It’s hardly SAS is it?” wrote one non-plussed viewer.
“I’ve had to have full on cold showers, washing and rinsing my hair etc when camping. 15 seconds is nowt,” seconded another.
A third moaned: “I can’t believe the BBC has a show about celebrities taking a cold shower and then being congratulated on the achievement.”

A fourth chimed in: “These people are making a hell of a fuss about taking a cold micro shower. Have they never had a broken boiler or done PE in a British comprehensive in the 80s?!”
And a fifth put in bluntly: “Being British is watching a load of overpaid celebrities take a cold shower on prime time television.”
As well as Gabby and Alfie, the stars taking part on the reality show include former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite, musician Professor Green and Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell.
They are also joined by TV presenter and footballer Chelcee Grimes, Welsh weatherman Owain Wyn Evans and former Premier League footballer Patrice Evra.
Last week, some viewers slammed the show during the first episode and vowed to switch off.
One viewer even called for the series to be cancelled before the end of the episode.
Alongside an emoji of an angry face, one person vented: “Was really looking forward to Freeze the Fear, but the dramatics of it is making me cringe so bad. Truly awful.”
Echoing their comments, someone else fumed: “How on earth has Freeze the Fear been commissioned by the BBC? It’s complete utter rubbish.”
Others savaged the show for airing as the cost of living spikes.

“Look how wonderful it is to be cold,” one sarcastically wrote, adding: “Is this a Government-sponsored information show to get us to turn that central heating off?”
In agreement, another viewer questioned: “What’s the actual point of this show? To help people cope with the energy crisis?”
