NFL Franchise Dolphins Hop on Growing Miami GP Hype Train With Red Bull F1 Driver Sergio Perez
The Red Bull F1 team has recently launched one of their ultra-popular F1 journeys videos. This time it follows Sergio Perez on his trip from New York to Miami, the freshest Grand Prix on the calendar. The Mexican gets a little taste of the roads of Miami before they race there in May- with the help of some friends from the homegrown Miami Dolphins.
It is a hell of a watch for the fans, who have racked up the views in just hours after its release. The video also features the NFL franchise, the Miami Dolphins.
Miami Dolphins make an unexpected cameo
The Red Bull marketing wing has hit another home run with this video of Sergio Perez’s trip to Miami. This time they also partnered up with the NFL team, the Miami Dolphins. The team competes in the NFL and is also a member of the Eastern Conference of American Football.
The franchise collaborated with Red Bull for their latest Race To Miami video. In his ‘road trip’ to Miami, Sergio Perez encounters cornerback Byron Jones, who directs Checo toward the Miami Dolphins’ home ground. Sergio Perez’s journey ends as he parks his RB-7 at the Hard Rock Stadium, where he was met by linebacker Andrew Ginkel.
In what looks to be an interesting amalgamation between the two sports, we can only hope for more of the Dolphins at the Miami GP!
A season to look forward to for Sergio Perez
The Mexican now enters his second season with Red Bull. He has so far lived up to his billing, but reliability issues have marred his start. Sergio has experienced a mixed bag of results with a DNF in the season opener in Bahrain. However, in Jeddah, he managed to clinch his first-ever pole position ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari.

He went on to finish P4 after some misfortune with the timing of the safety car in Saudi Arabia. However, the last weekend in Australia saw his best performance of the season with a grand podium finish.
