Shaquille O’Neal Makes A Bizarre $10,000 Offer To Get Charles Barkley Attacked By A Hawk on His Show: “Get This Meat”

Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are one of the funniest analyst duos in the NBA. And on the recent Inside the NBA on TNT show, in a hilarious attempt, Shaq offered $10,000 to a hawk to attack Chuck.

Shaq and Chuck are two of the most loved guys in the NBA. They get to business and discuss basketball and have arguments now and then. But they never fail to have fun and make people laugh. The crew playfully prank each other, make fun of each other to entertain us. And in a recent show, Ernie Johnson Sr asked Shaq to do his standard hawk call.

With no hesitation, Shaq made his hawk call and then Ernie asked Shaq to do his duck call, and finally the eagle call. Shaq tried his hands on everything. While the crew was laughing at Shaq’s calls, an actual hawk was brought to the set by its’ caretaker. 

The 47 years old hawk is called Lobo, and the caretaker was Dale Arrowood who is a master falconer. During the whole time, Lobo was on the set, Shaq was leaning on the other side trying to stay away from the hawk.

Then he walked up to Barkley, put his hand on Barkley’s head, and made his hawk call trying to signal the hawk to fly and attack Chuck. As the show was coming to a close Shaq offered $10,000 to the hawk’s caretaker to attack Chuck and said, “Lobo get this meat!”.

While they are making fun of each other and made fun of now in shows, they were no-nonsense players during their careers. And they couldn’t be messed with.

During their time, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley were two of the strongest big men in the NBA. 

Even though Barkley didn’t win a championship, he is a legend of the game. Unfortunately, Barkley like many other Hall of Famers didn’t win a championship because they played in the Michael Jordan era.

But Charles Barkley did win a regular-season MVP award in the Jordan era in 1993. And surprisingly Michael Jordan was 3rd in the MVP race that year behind Hakeem Olajuwon.

And Shaquille O’Neal has won 4 championships in his career. A three-peat from 2000 to 2002 with the LA Lakers and one in 2006 with the Miami Heat.

He is considered one of the most dominant big men in the history of the NBA. In 1207 games, Shaquille O’Neal’s average was 23.7 points per game, 10.9 rebounds per game, and 2.5 assists per game.
