Shaquille O’Neal Shares 5 Word Motivation From NFL Legend Deion Sanders That Define His Killer Mentality

Shaquille O’Neal has always been active on social media. If he likes what he sees, he shares it in his stories for everyone else to see. Regardless of what the post or reel is about, Shaq uses his Instagram to spread awareness, amaze people with unique things other people do, share important things, or just entertain his followers. Recently, he posted a reel from the NFL legend Deion Sanders.

Sanders played 14 years in the NFL. He won 2 Super Bowls in consecutive years 1995 and 1996 with the Dallas Cowboys. Additionally, he is an 8-time Pro Bowl and 6-time first team All Pro. Impressively, Deion has also won the Jim Thorpe award in 1988. Sanders was also a professional baseball player, and he played 9 seasons in the MLB. He is the only athlete ever to win a Super Bowl and make a World Series appearance.

Deion Sanders is now a professional coach. The Hall of Famer has coached Prime Prep Academy (2012–2013), Triple A Academy (2015–2016), and Jackson State (2020–present). He might be the only athlete ever to see success in two different sports around the same time. So when Deion Sanders posts a motivational reel, you listen to it. And Shaq made sure his followers do.

Shaquille O’Neal inspired by Deion Sanders

Shaq on his Instagram story shared a reel posted by Deion Sanders on his Instagram. He was speaking to a class where he spoke about being the best version one can be. Sanders gave some motivational words about turning the bad times into something good. His 5 worded message, “I don’t have bad days” is something everyone can learn from because it is you who makes it what it is. Time can be bad for anyone, but how a person rises from that holds most importance.

WATCH THIS STORY: Deion Sanders’ quotes which one should apply to life.

“It is not one day in my life that I have a bad day. I dont have bad days. I make the day what I want it to be. So I don’t know what’s going on in your personal life, what’s going on in your private life, what’s going on in your school life, what’s going on in your life. Period. You gotta change the game. You gotta thermostat this — gotta hit the lights. Turn them on. Turn on those lights in your life man, turn them on. I know it’s dark for some of you, turn them on. I know some of your families aint doing well, turn it on. Everybody ain’t got what they want, turn it on. Everybody ain’t feeling what they tryna feel, turn it on. You got that kind of power. You gotta make today what you want it to be.”

Deion Sanders dropped some of the best motivation one can get. It is clear why Shaq shared it in his story and why every one of us would listen to Sanders talking about “turning it up”!
