Child, 6, punched in the STOMACH by man in road rage attack after driver ‘opened car door and attacked them’

A YOUNG child was punched in the stomach in a shocking road rage attack.

The six-year-old was in the back of a grey Toyota Hilux 4×4 when a man reportedly opened the rear car door and hit them.

He then got back in his own vehicle and left the scene in Guildford, Surrey.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released under investigation.

Police have launched a probe following the horror attack on the A323 on April 9.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for the public’s help with an ongoing investigation, following a road rage incident where it is alleged a child was punched in the stomach.

“The child was in the back of a grey Toyota Hilux 4×4 parked on the A323 junction of Guidlford Road and Pirbright Road.

“It was reported the man has opened the rear car door and punched the child in the stomach before getting back into the car and driving off.

“Investigating Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have any further information or dashcam footage to contact us.”
