F1 Twitter Awaits Impending Doom as Nico Rosberg Is Set to Bring His Broken Prophecies to Imola GP
Nico Rosberg is one of the few F1 drivers who have lifted a world championship in recent times. After winning the title, the 2016 world champion retired from the sport and started his career as a presenter. However, he has already established somewhat of a legend about himself.
Rosberg has a history of jinxing Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc on the weekends when he is trackside.
Rosberg to jinx Leclerc in Imola?
Although Nico Rosberg went on to have a great career as a driver, he has garnered quite a reputation as a presenter. Alongside that, he has also managed to somehow alter the fortunes of Charles Leclerc whenever he is presenting for the weekend. Last year in Monaco, the driver was set to start on a pole, but a tweet from Rosberg, wishing him luck, derailed his weekend, as a suspected gearbox failure prevented Leclerc from starting the race.
Thanks. Noted it for my weekend with @SkySportsF1

In this tweet, he was once again referring to his jinxing talents as he joked about the weekend. The fans have been bantering the same in the comments. Especially the Ferrari faithful who have been trying to protect their golden boy, Leclerc.
nico rosberg is in the paddock this weekend. that man better not even dare to say charles’ name after what happened in monaco last year

Don’t say anything about Leclerc or Ferrari. Thanks.

Other fans shined the light on Sebastian Vettel’s misfortune the last time Nico was in the Paddock.

Will we see Rosberg’s curse hamper the weekend of a few drivers, or is his jinxing career finally over?
2022 title charge for Charles Leclerc
The 2022 season has seen Charles Leclerc and the Reds give a glimpse of Ferrari’s glory days. Both Ferrari and Leclerc top their respective standings. Leclerc so far has 2 wins and a podium to his name as he racked up 71 points in the first 3 races.

He leads second-placed George Russell, who has bagged 37 points. The next race in Imola will see Ferrari be on home soil in Italy as Charles will look to increase his lead in the championship.
This increasing gap is definitely making reigning world champion Max Verstappen nervous, as his title defense is looking even more difficult. The Dutchman has faced some major misfortune and sits P6 in the driver’s standings, trailing Leclerc with a deficit of 46 points.

Will the race in Italy see the gap between Leclerc and his rivals increase? Or will Nico’s curse narrow it down?
