Gambling’s Billionaire Lover Michael Jordan Left an MLB Legend’s Jaw-Dropping in Front of an Empty Casino

Michael Jordan used to put on a show on the court. Every game he played, he performed like it was his last game. But off the court, Jordan dominated on the casino tables too. Michael has a lot of stories of him gambling. Though this one story probably had his fans really understand about Michael’s gambling game.

Going out in casinos, gambling on slot machines, playing blackjack and other games was a go-to move to spend the night out a few decades ago. Jordan, whose fame was at the top in the early 90s, used to gamble for fun. But an MLB legend witnessed Michael’s true game.

Michael Jordan was alone in a boat full of blackjack tables

Former MLB star, Mark Grace once went gambling with his parents in a riverboat casino. As Mark describes, the boat had 3 levels. The first level consisted of slot machines, the second level had blackjack tables, and the third level had roulette tables. Grace goes on to describe the second level, as he found Jordan sitting alone.

“So the second floor is blackjack and the casino… it’s empty.”, said Mark. “I mean there’s at least 70 blackjack tables on this boat that are not being used. One is, and that’s where Jordan is playing.”

To be all alone in a gambling boat is what anyone would prefer, especially in the case of Michael Jordan. But not only this, Michael was going all-in on the blackjack table. Grace wanted to meet Jordan with his parents but had to go through about 4 levels of security. When he finally met Michael, he said that he was pretty kind to his parents as he introduced them to MJ for the first time.

Grace was amazed by Jordan’s gambling game

Grace, after meeting Michael, stood there to watch him play, and to his surprise, Jordan wasn’t putting out 5 figures a hand. Mark said, “And he’s putting thousands upon thousands of dollars, big stacks of chips, anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 a hand, and he’s winning. And I’m watching this s— and I’m like, ‘Man it must be good to be the king.’”

Michael had Grace in awe after he put up a show just like he did on the court. But when Mark talked to the casino host, he confirmed that Jordan always gave the winnings back.
