Lewis Hamilton praises The Weeknd

Lewis Hamilton is a worldwide known personality. He’s an icon for his community, for people who love motorsports, and for people who love fashion as well. The man is simply one of the most talented athletes to ever grace the tracks of F1 while winning over everyone in several other industries. Undoubtedly, he is friends with or knows many famous entities around the world.

The recently held Coachella music festival acts as a performing hub for several celebrities. Famous Canadian singer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye or better known by his stage name The Weeknd was also present. The singer performed several of his big hits and grabbed Lewis’s attention, who posted a story of the same and praised the singer with an emoji. The Weeknd performed alongside the Swedish House Mafia on the last day. Lewis has previously revealed how he is a fan of the artist’s music and likes to give it a shot right before a race.

Lewis, who has been spotted with the artist before, also follows him on the musical platform Spotify. Fashion weeks or similar events often invite celebrities like Hamilton and The Weeknd together and hence they can be spotted hanging out. Moreover, Hamilton, who is very much involved in the fashion industry, has also been a part of the prestigious Met Gala in recent years. The Met Gala invites only a renowned few from different walks of life to grace its carpets, including The Weeknd and Hamilton.

Can Imola prove to be a turning point for Lewis?

Hamilton will be looking forward to the Imola GP. Despite an indifferent start to the season, the Brit should be hoping for a podium finish in Imola to turn around his season. Imola Grand Prix gets underway on April 22nd. Additionally, his team, Mercedes F1, should look forward to a much-improved car.
