Snoop Dogg’s 5 Word Admission on Will Smith’s Oscars Scandal Could Upset Magic Johnson and Jerry West
‘Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers’ Dynasty’ is an HBO TV series which was premiered on March 6. And the show is based on Jeff Pearlman’s book “Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s”. The book was released in March 2014 and was the New York Times bestseller.
And multiple Lakers legends have expressed their displeasure with the show. Also, Magic Johnson said he has no interest in watching ‘Winning Time’ because it can’t be duplicated. He said, “First of all, you can’t do a story about the Lakers without the Lakers, the real Lakers. You gotta have the guys. There’s no way to duplicate Showtime. I don’t care who you get.”.
Now, in the recent ‘Full Send Podcast’ Snoop Dogg was asked about Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock. And Snoop said that he didn’t catch the slap as he was watching ‘Winning Time’. Snoop Dogg has always been a vocal Lakers fan.
And this would certainly upset Magic Johnson, Jerry West, and other Lakers legends. They wouldn’t want the Lakers’ fans to watch them portrayed wrong in the show.
