“You Guys Seem to Be Up His A**” – Dillian Whyte Berates Tyson Fury for “Rubbish” Claims
Dillian Whyte is heading towards his 31st professional fight on April 23rd at Wembley. Whyte, who is currently the reigning WBC interim heavyweight champion, will face ‘The Gypsy King’ in a 12-round bout on the greatest night of British boxing. After months of trash-talking and build-up, it’s now a wait of only a few hours till the two finally fight it out.
In a recent interview with Behind The Gloves, correspondent Michelle Joy Phelps reminded Whyte that Fury has considered this bout to be his last. In addition, she asked the WBC title-holder what he thought about Fury and especially such a statement.
Hearing the question thoroughly, the following is what Dillian Whyte replied:
“I’ve already said Tyson Fury talks rubbish man. He would say that then the next day, ‘I want to fight Dillian Whyte again. You know, he says a lot of things. I don’t worry about what Tyson Fury does or says. You guys all seem to be up his a**. But I don’t care, it doesn’t mean nothing to me.”
What does Dillian Whyte imply when closely looked at?
In his response, Whyte not only suspects the retirement of ‘The Gypsy King‘ but also seems to have a rematch sketched out in his mind. What does “I want to fight Dillian Whyte again” mean? Does Whyte mean to convey that Fury will come out of his retirement for a rematch against Whyte? Quite a bold claim by Whyte, who will receive $8million following the fight.

Further in his answer to Phelps, Whyte adds, “Saturday, he goes home, I go home, and that’s it. Then they want a rematch, that’s it”.

Clearly, does Dillian Whyte refuse to accept that it is the end for ‘The Gypsy King’. And in the same vein, he talks about a possible rematch primarily proposed by the corner nurturing Tyson Fury, the champ.
