Labour is cynically whipping up the hysteria because it cannot defeat him over real issues, from Brexit to the Rwanda migrant scheme.

They are using the scandal to try to block bold Tory reforms needed to revitalise the nation.

Left-leaning broadcasters are falling over themselves to ask him about parties rather than highlighting his successes such as the potentially lucrative trade deal with India.

Tory MPs jittery over the potentially dire results of the May local elections are openly plotting.

But, as Boris points out, ten important new laws will reach the statute book in the next few weeks and more are on the way.

He rightly says this reflects the “grit and determination” of the Government despite the pandemic.

Boris has led the way in his steadfast support for Ukraine as it battles maniac Vladimir Putin’s forces.

He still has a long way to go to level up parts of the nation neglected for too long.

And he urgently needs to help voters struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.

But his many enemies are determined to use parties to topple him.
