Baby Steps viewers in tears as Tommy Mallet asks Georgia’s dad for her hand in marriage
BABY Steps viewers were left reaching for the tissues tonight when Tommy Mallet asked Georgia Kousoulou’s dad for her hand in marriage.
He sat down for a candid chat with Luke before springing it on him.

He was gearing up to ask Luke a huge question
The proud dad was taken by surprise and got up to hug his son-in-law.
Tommy, 29, said: “I’ve got to ask you a question. And you don’t have to say yes.
“Can I propose to Georgia? Can I ask Georgia to marry me?”
“Well, because you’ve got a great heart…” the emotional dad replied, but he couldn’t finish his sentence before leaping out of his seat and giving Tommy a hug.
After sitting back down, Tommy told Luke: “My intentions are… you know what my intentions are.

“I just want to make sure that I give the best to Georgia and I get to spend a lot of years with you (guys) as a family.
“I want to make it official because when we had the baby, it didn’t feel right that Georgia didn’t have the same surname.
“When we started booking flights, it was like: ‘Oh!’ because Georgia and the baby, it was just a thing I felt.

“I feel like I’m living such a dream what I’m doing at the minute, everything is just like perfect and even if it ain’t, we work around it…”
Speaking later to the cameras, Georgia’s dad Luke admitted: “I was dead surprised today, so… I think she’s going to be over the moon. She is ready for it, so it’s perfect timing, I love it!”
Fans on Twitter were weeping after seeing the happy moment, and one said: “OMG OMG OMG! So excited for this next step in Tommy and Georgia’s relationship.”

The reality TV stars, who started dating in 2014, got engaged during their holiday to Mexico.
Tommy found a romantic spot overlooking the stunning coastline and arranged for hundreds of red roses to mark the occassion.
The shoe designer proposed at sunset, as Georgia, 30, cradled their son Brody in her arms.
She uploaded photos of the sweet moment her beau got down on one knee and wrote on Instagram: “OF COURSE I SAID YES”
