Tyson Fury has every intention of returning to WWE this year as he targets a big fight with Drew McIntyre.

The Gypsy King defeated Dillian Whyte at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, and now his focus could turn to the world of wrestling as he admitted he hopes to be at both SummerSlam and the company’s show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Speaking in a press conference after his fight, he was asked about the Cardiff show in September and said: ‘Don’t rule me out of fighting there. You might see me at SummerSlam coming up soon.

‘I’ve got to speak to Vince [McMahon] and the boys. Maybe make this happen. I know Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I have to knock him out.

‘I’d love to be at Cardiff, I’d love to be back at centre stage in the UK, especially for the wrestling. I enjoyed it last time in Saudi Arabia, it was fantastic. To come here and do it would be phenomenal.

‘I’m definitely gonna make a bit of contact and see, can we make that SummerSlam thing a reality?’

WWE will put on its first UK stadium show since 1992 at the Principality on September 3, while SummerSlam is confirmed for July 30 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Fury, but he has repeatedly made it clear he wants to be back in WWE.

‘One million per cent,’ he previously said. ‘You will see me in the WWE again. One million per cent.’

And the Scottish Warrior McIntyre had urged Fury not to ‘screw up’ his fight against Whyte, will hyping up their own potential clash.

‘He might not look like the athlete of the day but he goes and goes like an Energizer bunny,’ he said earlier this week. ‘I’ve got my money on Tyson, but all I’ll say is, “Don’t screw it up.”

‘We’ve been talking about maybe making something happen for the past couple of years, obviously with everything on my plate right now I’m not focused on telling him, “let’s do this thing” or “let’s make something happen.” ‘
