Richard Madeley returns to Good Morning Britain ALONE in massive show shake-up

RICHARD Madeley has finally returned to Good Morning Britain – but without a co-host in the studio.

In a massive show shake-up, Susanna Reid was presenting live from the Polish-Ukrainian border of Medyka instead.

Meanwhile Richard went solo from the presenting desk as he came back from an Easter break.

He and Susanna have both been missing from our screens in recent weeks with calls for their urgent return.

There were a few technical difficulties as Susanna was heard speaking telling her crew: “I can’t hear anything.”

Taking over from back in the studio, Richard said: “We’re having some communication issues.

“We kind of assumed that would happen at some point today. That’s technology 2022 for you.”

Susanna is reporting live from the busiest crossing for those fleeing war.

Richard took over normal proceedings in the studio, with Sean Fletcher giving the news headlines and Richard Arnold delivering entertainment updates.
