After working in a couple of films, Johnson got his first lead role in The Scorpion King in 2002. The movie was a success, but the success didn’t have a prolonged ripple effect. This is when he knew it was time to make some changes to his strategies.

Some had advised him to lose the entire essence of The Rock, but he knew that wasn’t happening. He tried to convince his team to study Will Smith and George Clooney’s methods to success. When they didn’t agree with him, Johnson built a whole new team with Dany Garcia.

This team worked towards his debut in the Fast and Furious franchise in Fast Five as Luke Hobbs. This particular character was a huge success among the fans.

Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson co-found Seven Bucks Production and produced movies such as Hobb & Shaw, Skyscraper and others. These movies skyrocketed his value without him having to change his physique or diminish the entire face value of The Rock.

While Johnson’s worth skyrocketed via his movies, the multiple businesses played a significant role as well.

Garcia and Johnson are co-owners for Teremana Tequila, The XFL, and Seven Bucks Productions. Keeping that aside, Johnson has ZOA Energy while Dany Garcia has The Garcia Companies.
