“He Was Super Duper Jacked When He Got Out of Jail” – Joe Rogan Reveals the ‘Scariest’ Version of Mike Tyson

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is one of the most famous boxers on the planet. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he dominated the world of boxing for over two decades. During his career, Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion of the world aged 21. He is known for his peek-a-boo style, along with his vicious knockout power. Out of his 58 fights in the ring, Mike Tyson won 50, with 44 wins coming by the way of a knockout. His knockout power, along with his persona, gave him the title of being ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet.’

In an old podcast episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ in 2018, Rogan described what he thought was the scariest version of Mike Tyson.

The UFC color commentator said, “Tyson you saw abs when he came out of prison. Remember that? When he fought Peter McNeeley. Dude, he was prison jacked. That was like maybe the scariest Tyson ever. When they finally released him and all he had been doing in jail. I don’t think he could box in jail, so I think all he was just lifting weights. Remember, he was super duper jacked when he got out of jail… That is f****** terrifying!”

He made his comeback against Peter McNeeley on August 9, 1995, and won this fight via disqualification.

After his comeback, he managed to win the WBA & WBC heavyweight titles before losing them to Evander Holyfield. Mike Tyson finally called it a day after his fight against Kevin McBride, which he lost and retired as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

After retirement, Tyson made a couple of appearances in various Hollywood movies. He also authored his autobiography titled Undisputed Truth: My Autobiography.

However, after a 15-year absence, on November 28, 2020, Tyson made his comeback in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. The fight was scored as a split draw.
