Man killed & woman in her 40s left fighting for her life after double stabbing in leafy town as man, 38, arrested
A MAN has been killed and a woman is fighting for her life after a double stabbing in a leafy town.
Both were found in a flat with knife wounds after the incident in a car park in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Officers arrived at Harland Court off Station Hill at 3pm on Tuesday.
The man, in his 40s, was declared dead at the scene.
The female victim, also in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment where she is in a critical but stable condition.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

The suspect, from Bury St Edmunds, was detained by officers in the vicinity of St John’s Street and is being questioned.
Detectives are urgently appealing for witnesses.
