EastEnders star is unrecognisable from soap character in very glam snap – can you guess who it is?

EASTENDERS star Danielle Harold made fans do a double take when she looked completely unrecognisable on Instagram.

She plays Lola Pearce in the BBC One soap

The soap star, who plays Lola Pearce on the BBC show, had ditched Lola’s usual pony tail or bun in favour of allowing her platinum blonde hair flow around her shoulders.

She had tinted the ends in a light pink shade and wore a pink silk headband.

Danielle chose smouldering eye make up with thick blue liner and huge lashes, and a nude lippie, giving a fashionable look.

The stylish star completed the glam look by wearing a bright top as she held her hands above her head.

She captioned her photo with a simple rainbow emoji, and one fan replied: “Beautiful gorgeous magical perfect Queen”

Danielle’s character Lola is a single mum to daughter Lexi.

Actress Danielle played Lola in EastEnders from 2011-2015, before making a dramatic return to the soap in 2019.


Speaking about how she got into acting, she said: “I was in year 10 when I fell ill and was in and out of hospital. At that point I just gave up and didn’t try with GCSEs.

“I didn’t do well at school, I used to bunk off lessons a lot.

“I always felt frustrated because I couldn’t understand maths and English.

“I knew I’d never get good grades, I was more into drama and sports.”

She went on to star in Jamie Oliver’s Dream School which featured celebrities helping youngsters who had less than five GCSEs.

She was working as a waitress when she decided to apply for a place on the show.

She saidl: “It was either continue waitressing or do Jamie’s Dream School.

“I worried quitting my job would be a mistake but it turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. Jamie was lovely.”
