Weapons found in A$AP Rocky’s home did not match the gun used in a shooting last November, it has been claimed.
The rapper was arrested last week after landing at LAX, following a trip to Barbados with pregnant girlfriend Rihanna.
The 33-year-old and an accomplice allegedly got into an argument in Hollywood at the end of last year, which escalated to gunfire, when the alleged victim’s hand was grazed.
Police took the star – real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – into custody at the airport while LAPD officers searched his home at the same time, and his lawyer is said to have confirmed that the arrest was in relation to the 2021 shooting.
A series of guns were seized, but reports claim that they did not match the weapon used in the shooting.
Insiders also told TMZ that they were all fully registered and legally purchased.

However, LAPD sources have said that they have a video of the shooting incident in their possession.
The man alleged that Rocky shot at him up to four times, claiming that one of the bullets grazed his left hand.
The dad-to-be had previously been under investigation by the LAPD, but this had not been public knowledge at the time – until his public arrest this month.
‘The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim,’ a police press release said at the time.

‘Detectives worked diligently to investigate and corroborate the reporting information which helped identify the suspect(s) involved.
‘The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, a Los Angeles resident, also known as music artist A$AP Rocky.’
‘Early this morning, LAPD officers arrested Mayers for assault with a deadly weapon (firearm) at the Los Angeles International Airport.

‘This case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.’
Rocky was released on a $550,000 (£421k) bail shortly after his arrest and has not been charged.
He has not spoken publicly over the arrest but has since been seen in public, attending girlfriend Rihanna’s baby shower over the weekend.
