Trackhouse Racing Ace Ross Chastain Hoping for a Pitbull Party in the Victory Lane at Dover as He Hunts for a Third Win This Season

One could say, ‘There’s no other NASCAR team that’s having as good a season as Trackhouse Racing (all things considered)’, and make a pretty good argument about it. The team owned by ‘Mr. Worldwide’, Pitbull, has already won two races this season, both at the hands of the Watermelon man himself, Ross Chastain.

Chastain, who took the checkered flag at Circuit Of The Americas, and more recently at Talladega Superspeedway, is heading to Dover with some extra motivation.

That extra motivation is, of course, for a third win this season. But it’s also of celebrating that win by grooving on one of his boss’ tunes, ‘Can’t Stop Us Now,’ a song title that more or less describes this team’s push to the top.

Add to that the fact that Chastain’s #1 will be sponsored by Pitbull’s upcoming world tour, and one can imagine that Dover could very well be a special race for the driver and his team.

In a recent interview, Chastain said he never imagined he’d be teaming up with Pitbull.

“That is so cool and shows how interesting life really is,” he said. “He is such a motivator, we want to really do well for him Sunday. I hope we play ‘Can’t Stop Us Now’ in victory lane at Dover.”

Ross Chastain might’ve won two races, but playoffs aren’t on his team’s mind

After his driver’s win at Talladega, Justin Marks, the co-owner of Trackhouse Racing, emphasized that regardless of the two race wins, his team doesn’t have their eyes on the playoffs.

“Trackhouse is so new that we can’t start thinking that way. We have to just focus on what we’re doing every week; just the execution of what we’re doing every week that’s putting us in that position,” Marks reasoned.

Having said that, Marks admitted that they are contending and contending for wins, “week in and week out,” something they simply have to commit to.

“I don’t think there’s going to be any conversation about playoff strategy for the foreseeable future,” he added.
