‘Tulsa Operates Differently’: Golf World Reacts to Viral Tiger Woods Chopper Video

Tiger Woods made a comeback to golf at the 2022 Masters at Augusta National. The 15-time major championship winner played beautifully at the first major championship event of the year. The World Golf Hall of Fame member is in the news once again for making a giant leap forward in an attempt to play at Southern Hills.

Woods flew to Tulsa yesterday in his private jet to play a practice round at this year’s PGA Championship venue. The 46-year-old American professional scouted the golf course to evaluate his body before deciding to play at the major championship event. He has already registered for the event, which starts on May 19.

Previously, in 2007, Woods won the PGA Championship at the same venue. Therefore, he probably has various fond memories of the golf course, which, if nothing, might boost his desire to recreate the memory and fuel his competitive spirit.

Whenever the former World Number One plays a practice round, it’s bound to attract media personnel. However, this time, they traveled the extra mile and covered a few shots from a chopper. NewsOn6 covered him playing from an aerial view, making viewing Woods’ practice round even more special. NewsOn6 tweeted the mesmerizing video using their official Twitter account.

In the video, Woods is seen putting on one of the greens to get the hang of the challenging course at Southern Hills Country Club. He planned his whole scouting session at the golf course to see how his body would react to the hectic schedule of playing back-to-back events.

Woods was seen on the course wearing something casual and comfortable. He was wearing a back Nike polo with his usual black shorts and the white FootJoy shoes he wore during the Masters.

The golf world goes insane after the recent Tiger Woods video

As soon as the video broke out, golf Twitter turned into a frenzy. Golf fans from all parts of the world started to react to the video of Woods’ practice round on Thursday. Most of the fans were happy to see the five-times Masters champion attempting to play at another event. At the same time, other fans were angry over the media houses for covering Tiger’s practice round through an aerial view. A few fans also reacted to his white FJ shoes.
