Joe Rogan Hails 2-Time Oscar Winner Sean Penn for Courageously Filming a Documentary in Ukraine Amidst Russia Conflict
Joe Rogan praised Sean Penn for going to Ukraine to make a documentary about the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The veteran UFC commentator on his renowned podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, mentioned the courageous act of the two-time Academy Award winner, Penn.
On his podcast with former UFC heavyweight & friend Brendan Schaub, Rogan brought up, “Sean Penn was over there filming a documentary. He was over there for quite a while.”
Rogan added, “You want a good documentary or not? Gotta have a little ego. Do you want a f**king good documentary or not?”
Thereafter, Rogan applauded Sean Penn for making exceptional movies and said, “Who knows how to make movies better than Sean Penn? Probably nobody. He’s made some f**king amazing movies. And the guy’s got b**ls.”

Besides, Rogan also gave an example of a prior project Penn did before continuing, “He’s tilted. He’s definitely like a wacky dude. But, he’s the kind of guy that’s willing to go to f**king Ukraine, in the middle of the war.”
Rogan concluded his thoughts by again praising Penn. “That guy has got my respect. He’s got the b**ls of steel. He went to Ukraine in the middle of the war.”
Important to note that Vice Studios has confirmed the news of Penn making a documentary about the matter.
Anyhow, Rogan is always curious about things happening inside and outside the Octagon.
Joe Rogan asks Georges St-Pierre about Khabib Nurmagomedov matchup
Both Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov had close to 30 professional bouts; The former holds a record of 26-2, whereas the latter has a perfect 29-0 record. That said, ‘Rush’ has triple the UFC championship fights than ‘The Eagle’. Thus, fans hoped to see these two legends compete against each other.
Likewise, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, on JRE MMA Show #107, asked St-Pierre if he would return in a contest against the Dagestan fighter.
‘Rush’ replied, “I would have. Now, it’s all over.”
Since both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre have retired, the fight fans would not get the privilege to see them go against each other inside the Octagon. However, recently, ‘Rush’ suggested he was open to a grappling contest against Nurmagomedov under certain circumstances.
