Hide iMessage notifications

This trick is useful if you’re worried about other people seeing iMessages popping up from a certain person on your iPhone.

Maybe you’re planning a surprise party or talking to an ex you said you wouldn’t contact again.

Find the message thread you want to mute but don’t open it.

Instead, swipe to the left of the iMessage thread and click the bell symbol so the alerts are turned off.

Send your location

Sending your exact location is a popular WhatsApp feature and you can also do it on iMessage.

If you’re trying to meet up with a friend but they can’t find you, open your iMessage chat with them.

Then, click their name.
