Tiger’s 18-holes were productive, with the professional trying to hit different shots. Moreover, the American professional made a few putting strokes on some holes to judge the greens and get their hang. One such video of the golf legend is going viral on the internet. In the particular video, Woods is seen trying to feel the green.
However, he hits the putt too hard, and the ball races past the hole. But in reality, he was trying to assess the speed of the greens rather than making the putt and was aiming at a different spot.
The golf world has mixed reactions to the latest Tiger Woods video
As soon as the putting video of Woods broke out, golf Twitter erupted with fan reactions. Tiger fans from around the world started to react to the viral video. The majority of the fans explained how he was trying to get the hang of the greens and was following the same process every other professional does during practice rounds. At the same time, others thought that it was a misread.
You may be correct that no way he competes at PGA, however, it’s a bit ridiculous to base your conclusion on one bad putt.

How do you know he wasn’t aiming at a spot farther away than where the pin was? It’s a practice round. He can putt all over that green several times if he wants.

Buddy you ever gone to a practice round or even watch golf? These guys putt 3-4 balls at multiple possible pin locations on every green. Plus, did you not watch the masters? He’s got feel and touch…

And you think he is putting to the flag ???? He is practicing to another spot ,

Maybe he was channeling his inner Ian Poulter during a stroke play tournament with a chance at a top 10 finish on the line

Never leave a birdie putt short. All the greats know that.

Practice round. I’m pretty sure where the flag is now is not a tournament pin location….

This is a joke, right?
He’s aiming at another target

Woods’ performance at the 2022 Masters
Tiger played well at the first major championship of the 2022 season. The 46-year-old hit some crisp iron shots and his ball-striking was also top-notch. Moreover, he ended the event with an overall score of 13-over-par. As a result, he finished in solo 47th position, just inside the top 50. Woods carded a final round of six-over-par, 78.
His final round included one birdie and three bogeys on the opening nine holes. At the same time, he made two bogeys and one double-bogey on the back nine.
Do you think he will play at Southern Hills?
